
A new wave of Covid is knocking in the country. Four cases of Covid were reported in Telangana on Tuesday. After this the state government has appealed to the people to remain alert. Telangana recorded four Covid cases on Tuesday, the state Director of Public Health and Family Welfare said in a statement. The Director appealed to the public to remain alert given the increase in COVID-19 cases in neighboring states. Also, children below 10 years of age, pregnant women, and elderly people above 60 years of age have been advised to avoid going out unless it is mandatory.
The statement said that Covid infection is increasing more in the age group of 20 to 50 years. Therefore, such people are requested to take proper precautions while going out for office or other important work. All people have been advised to wear masks whenever they step out of the house. The statement said that a face mask is the first way to prevent Covid-19. The fine can also be imposed for not wearing a mask.
It is necessary to follow physical distance to protect against Covid
The Health Department has said in its advisory that to protect against Covid, it is necessary to follow a physical distance of six feet. Soap and hand washing facilities or sanitizers are to be made available at workplaces. Also, adequate physical distance should be maintained between employees. In the advisory, citizens have been appealed to avoid unnecessary travel. If it is necessary, then all Covid prevention rules like the use of face masks, sanitizer, and physical distance should be followed during the journey.
If flu or influenza symptoms appear, go to a health center immediately
The Health Department has said that if you notice flu or influenza symptoms like fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, difficulty in breathing, body ache, and headache, immediately go to the nearest government health center and get your health checked without any delay. The health department has appealed to people suffering from high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, cancer, or any other chronic disease to stay indoors and avoid any kind of travel except for medical care to avoid Covid risk Avoid.
