Lok Sabha Elections: AAP gave a Lok Sabha ticket to SC for the general seat, Kejriwal said it was a good step.

AAP's Political Affairs Committee meeting was held on Tuesday at the residence of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. On giving a ticket to Kondli MLA Kuldeep Kumar from East Delhi Lok Sabha seat, Kejriwal said that it is a good step. This decision can fulfill Baba Saheb's dream. East Delhi seat is for the general category. From here we have given a ticket to Kuldeep Kumar of Scheduled Caste.

 

Till now the parties did not give tickets to a Scheduled Caste person on a general seat. Earlier in the Punjab Assembly elections, Kulwant Singh of Scheduled Caste had also contested from Mohali seat. Kuldeep is the son of a sanitation worker. When the three corporations were separate, he was the Leader of the Opposition from East Delhi.

 

 

Kuldeep became MLA from Kondli in 2020. At the age of 18, he led the Ambedkar movement in East Delhi. While studying History Honors at Shyam Lal College, he played an active role in India Against Corruption and Anna Movement. At the age of 27, he was elected the youngest councilor from Kalyanpuri ward. The party made him the president of its SC/ST wing. He is appointed as the Chairman of Lal Bahadur Shastri and Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital in East Delhi.

 

The party will contest elections on 23 seats in five states: Dr. Pathak

National Organization General Secretary of the party, Dr. Sandeep Pathak said that while being in alliance, AAP will contest elections on 23 seats in five states. Five candidates were announced earlier and the names of five more candidates were announced on Tuesday. The party has proposed a committee to coordinate with the Congress in the elections. A decision on this will be taken in a day or two.

Somnath, New Delhi: Somnath Bharti, a lawyer by profession, is considered close to the Chief Minister. For the first time in the 49-day government of 2013, Somnath Bharti came to the Assembly after winning the election from Malviya Nagar seat. Expressing confidence in him, Kejriwal made him the Law Minister. Since then, Somnath has become MLA for the third time by winning from Malviya Nagar seat. At present, he is also the Vice Chairman of the Delhi Jal Board.

 

Sahiram, South Delhi: Sahiram Pehalwan, who joined AAP from the Bahujan Samaj Party, comes from the Gurjar community. In the 2013 elections, he contested from Tughlakabad assembly on a BSP ticket but stood second. After this, he joined the AAM. For the first time in the year 2015, he contested the assembly elections on an AAP ticket and won. He has been MLA from this seat for two consecutive terms.

 

Mahabal Mishra, West Delhi seat: Mahabal Mishra, who joined AAP from Congress, is considered a Purvanchali leader. His political journey started as a councilor. Became a councilor for the first time in 1997. After this, he became MLA in 1998. After that, he was continuously elected MLA from Dwarka. In the year 2010, after the ticket of MP Sajjan Singh was cut, he got the ticket and reached the Parliament after winning the election. He grew closer to you in the year 2020. First, his son joined AAP and then he also joined.

 

Kuldeep, East Delhi: Kuldeep, who was a core volunteer of the party, traveled from councilor to MLA. In the year 20, he contested the assembly elections from Kondli and won. The party has played a big gamble by giving him a chance at the general seat.

 

Sushil Gupta, Kurukshetra seat: Sushil Gupta, who joined AAP from Congress, is a social worker. In the year 2018, AAP sent him to the Rajya Sabha. Sushil Gupta, who has degrees in B.Com, LLB, and Delitt, is also the state president of AAP, Haryana. Now will contest elections from Kurukshetra.
