Addressing a public rally in Dum Dum, West Bengal, Prime Minister Modi stated that the wave of change visible across Bengal has been decisively validated by the voting in the first phase yesterday. PM Modi asserted that the support witnessed in favor of the BJP yesterday has sounded the clarion call for the party’s victory.

The Prime Minister declared that to restore Bengal’s glory and to transform it once again into a land of opportunity, it is absolutely essential to secure freedom from the Trinamool Congress’s regime—characterized by fear, corruption, syndicates, mass exodus, unemployment, economic stagnation, infiltration, and atrocities against women.

Launching a scathing attack on the TMC, the Prime Minister alleged that the party had trampled upon the “temple of democracy” in Bengal. He noted that through the first phase of voting, the public has already begun the reconstruction of this temple of democracy, and in the second phase, the task is to hoist the flag of victory atop it. PM Modi remarked that the TMC is like a flickering lamp—flaring up erratically just before it is about to be extinguished. He warned that once the election results are declared on May 4th, TMC goons will find nowhere to hide within Bengal.

PM Modi: This is the Hour of Revolution, and It Will Be Achieved Through the Vote

The Prime Minister recalled that, in his call to the nation to break the shackles of slavery, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose had proclaimed: “Give me blood, and I will give you freedom.” He asserted that this is the dawn of a new revolution in Bengal—a revolution that will be achieved through the power of the vote. “I appeal to the people of Bengal: bestow upon us the blessing of your vote, and together, we will liberate Bengal from its myriad afflictions,” he urged. He further characterized the TMC as an anti-women party.
