Broken Like Me

Posted on 30th Sep 2020 04:54 pm by rohit kumar

I see a sea of faces,

many I have never met,

but yet I feel compassion for them.

On the outside, they look just like everybody else,

but they aren't;

they are broken.

They're broken for different reasons,

and in different ways they hide

the pain, the hurt, the story; they will never tell.

The source of the brokenness

is what they hide.

I see a sea of faces,

many I have never met.

They look just like everybody else,

but they aren't;

they are broken.

They are just like me!
