Delhi Police arrest Three, Seize Ammunition

New Delhi, Jan 18 (IANS) Delhi Police Sunday arrested three people and seized a huge cache of live cartridges near a metro station in east Delhi. However, they have ruled out the possibility of any terror link behind the seizure and arrests.

Police recovered 1,020 live cartridges from three people near the Welcome station of Delhi Metro.

"There is no terror link behind the recovery of 1,020 live cartridges," said a police official.

Security has been tightened in Delhi ahead of Republic Day which will have US President Barack Obama as chief guest for the celebrations.
