President Draupadi Murmu: The Central Government extended the term of the Press Secretary to the President for two years

The term of President Draupadi Murmu's press secretary Ajay Kumar Singh has been extended by two years to 25 September 2024.

 

Ajay Kumar Singh was given a two-year extension for the post in July. His term was ending on Sunday. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved Singh's tenure as Press Secretary to the President on a contractual basis for a period from 26 September 2022 to 25 September 2024.
