Vivo is preparing to launch its upcoming Vivo V80 Lite smartphone, with the company confirming the device's launch date for Malaysia. The new handset is expected to attract attention with its unusually large battery and capable MediaTek processor.
The Vivo V80 Lite will launch in Malaysia on September 3, 2026, and will reportedly be available in two colour options: pink and green.

Vivo has teased the upcoming smartphone through a launch poster, confirming its September 3 debut in Malaysia.
While the company has confirmed the Malaysian launch, details about availability in other international markets—including India—have not yet been announced.
Vivo V80 Lite to Feature 10,000mAh Battery
The biggest highlight of the Vivo V80 Lite is its 10,000mAh battery.
According to the company's teaser, this will be the first Vivo smartphone with a 10,000mAh battery to launch outside China. Vivo has previously introduced the Vivo 600 Pro in China with an even larger 10,200mAh battery.
The massive battery could make the V80 Lite particularly appealing to users who prioritise long battery life for gaming, video streaming and everyday use.
44W Fast Charging Also Tipped
Despite its large battery capacity, the upcoming Vivo phone is expected to support 44W fast charging.
A TUV certification listing has reportedly revealed the charging capability, although Vivo has yet to provide a complete specification sheet for the smartphone.
Dimensity 7300e Processor Expected
The Vivo V80 Lite has also appeared in certification and benchmark databases.
The smartphone was spotted in a SIRIM listing with model number V2626. The same model number reportedly appeared on Geekbench, where the device was listed with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e (MT6858) chipset.
The benchmark listing also points to 6GB of RAM and Android 16.
