
New Delhi, Jan 2 (IANS) The national capital saw a overcast, cold Friday with some rain at the maximum temperature recorded 16 degrees Celsius, five notches below the season's average. The Met has forecast a cloudy Saturday with rain in some parts of the capital.

"There will be moderate fog Saturday morning and rain is likely in many parts of the national capital. The minimum and the maximum temperatures of the day are likely to hover around 11 and 17 degree Celsius," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The fog Friday morning in and around Delhi delayed over 45 trains.
According to the Northern Railway, over 45 trains were running late while 16 trains were rescheduled and 27 trains were cancelled due to the fog.
The minimum temperature settled at 10.2 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average, while rainfall recorded till 5.30 p.m Friday was 5.6 mm.
Thursday's minimum temperature was 8.8 degrees Celsius and the maximum 21.6 degrees Celsius.
