अंगारों भरी नजर से देखा नौजवान ने मुझको

देखकर गली तवायफ की, जब उसे चल चल कही मैंने

बज उठी महफ़िल में गूंज तालियों की हर ओर

माँ की सख्त हथेलियां भी, जब मलमल कही मैंने

चुराने लगी है बिटिया,जबसे नजर मुझसे बार बार

ना जाने कितनी दफा खुद को, सम्भल कही मैंने

खुश होकर बैठा लिया, किस्मत ने मुझे अपने कंधों पर

बाप के पसीने की महक, जब खुशबु-ए-सन्दल कही मैंने
