There is currently a pause in the conflict that has been going on between Israel and Hamas for more than a month. On October 7, terrorists attacked Israel and took hundreds of people hostage, including soldiers. However, now some hostages have been released under an agreement. Meanwhile, Hamas has made a new offer to Israel. He says that if Israel releases Palestinian prisoners, all its soldiers will be released in return.

going through difficult conversations

Bassem Naim, a senior Hamas official and former Gaza health minister, said the group was going through tough negotiations to extend the ceasefire. Naim told reporters during a visit to South Africa that he was ready to release all Israeli soldiers in exchange for all its prisoners held in Israel. Let us tell you, the ceasefire is going to end today i.e. on Thursday.

this is the case

It is noteworthy that Hamas attacked Israel on October 7 and took about 240 people hostage. 1200 people were killed there. In Israel's retaliatory action, more than 15,000 people were killed in the Gaza Strip. Now under the ceasefire agreement, 60 Israeli hostages and 180 Palestinian prisoners have been released. However, the agreement excludes soldiers held hostage by Hamas. It is being said that terrorist groups can use soldiers as a big deal.

The agreement has already been reached

In 2011, more than a thousand Palestinians were exchanged for Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit. The group says that more than seven thousand Palestinians are currently lodged in Israeli prisons. In October, Hamas demanded Israel to release all Palestinian prisoners. Now the new proposal has been put forward at a time when efforts to end the war have intensified.

A source close to the Hamas group says Hamas is ready to extend the ceasefire by four days and release more Israelis. At the same time, Naeem said, 'We are making efforts with the mediators to negotiate a permanent ceasefire.'
