शहर के सिविल सर्जन डॉ। राजेश बग्गा ने बुधवार को बताया कि कम से कम 167 लोगों के लुधियाना में लापता होने का संदेह है, जबकि केवल 29 का पता लगाया गया है। पंजाब में चिकित्सा अधिकारियों को उन लोगों की एक सूची मिली थी जो हाल ही में भारत लौटे हैं और यदि कोई है तो संक्रमण का पता लगाने के लिए बोली पर सूची में लोगों को ट्रैक कर रहा है।
"विदेश से आने वाले लोगों को खोजने के लिए दो टीमों का काम सौंपा गया है, जिसमें पुलिस को 119 लोगों को खोजने की जिम्मेदारी दी गई है। उन्होंने अब तक 12 लोगों को ढूंढ लिया है और दूसरी टीम स्वास्थ्य विभाग की है, जिसमें उन्हें जिम्मेदारी दी गई थी। 77 लोगों को ढूंढें, "उन्होंने एएनआई को बताया।
उन्होंने कहा, "स्वास्थ्य विभाग की टीम द्वारा 17 लोगों का पता लगाया गया है। बाकी 167 लोग अभी भी लुधियाना में लापता हैं।" कुमार ने उल्लेख किया कि इसके पीछे मुख्य कारण यह है कि वे सभी का पता नहीं लगा पा रहे हैं या तो पासपोर्ट और टेलीफोन नंबर में गलत पता है।
"इस मुद्दे के पीछे मुख्य कारण यह है कि इन लोगों के पास सही पते और टेलीफोन नंबर नहीं हैं। ऐसा लगता है कि पता और टेलीफोन नंबर बदल गए हैं," उन्होंने कहा। कुमार ने कहा, "हमारी टीमें सक्रिय हैं और उन्हें खोज रही हैं। जल्द ही उनका पता लगा लिया जाएगा।"
महाराष्ट्र के स्वास्थ्य मंत्री राजेश टोपे ने बुधवार को कहा कि संदिग्ध कोरोनोवायरस मामलों के परीक्षण के लिए राज्य भर में सात और प्रयोगशालाएँ आएंगी। वर्तमान में, राज्य में केवल तीन प्रयोगशालाएं मुंबई, नागपुर और पुणे में चल रही हैं, जहां संदिग्ध व्यक्तियों के नमूनों का परीक्षण किया जाता है।
टोपे ने संवाददाताओं से कहा, "केईएम, जेजे अस्पताल और हाफकीन इंस्टीट्यूट को जल्द ही परीक्षण सुविधाएं मिलेंगी। सबसे अधिक संभावना है कि वे अगले पांच दिनों में परिचालन शुरू कर देंगे।"
