Active cases decreased by 2709; Now 3.76 lakh patients are undergoing treatment, this is the lowest in 145 days

Corona cases declined in the country on Sunday. 33,212 new patients were found, 35,497 were cured and 421 died. In this way, the number of active cases, that is, the number of patients undergoing treatment, decreased by 2,709. Now 3.76 lakh patients are being treated. This figure is the lowest since March 23. Then there were a total of 3.65 lakh active cases.

 

New cases declined for the fourth consecutive day in Kerala. 18,582 new cases were found here on Sunday. On Wednesday, the number was 23,500. On the previous day, 102 victims died in the state. So far, the death toll from Covid has risen to 18,601.

Restrictions like lockdown in 8 states

There are restrictions like complete lockdown in 8 states of the country. These include West Bengal, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Mizoram, Goa, and Puducherry. Strict restrictions have been imposed here as in the previous lockdown.

 

Partial lockdown in 23 states/UTs

There is a partial lockdown in 23 states and union territories of the country. There are exemptions along with restrictions here. These include Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Kerala, Bihar, Delhi, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Assam, Manipur, Tripura, Andhra Pradesh, and Gujarat is included.

1. Kerala

On Sunday, 18,582 people were found infected here. 20,089 people were cured and 102 people died. So far 36.90 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 34.92 lakh people have been cured, while 18,601 people have died. Presently 1.78 lakh patients are undergoing treatment.

 

2. Maharashtra

On Sunday, 4,797 people were found infected here. 3,710 people were cured and 130 people died. So far 63.92 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 61.89 lakh people have been cured, while 1.35 lakh people have died. At present, 64,219 patients are undergoing treatment.

 

3. Delhi

53 people were found corona positive in Delhi on Sunday. During this 18 people were cured. So far 14.37 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 14.11 lakh people have been cured, while 25,069 patients have died. 513 patients are being treated here.

 

4. Gujarat

On Sunday, 16 people were found corona positive here. 18 patients were cured. So far, about 8.25 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 8.14 lakh people have been cured, while 10,078 patients have died. Treatment of 183 infected is going on here.

 

5. Rajasthan

On Sunday, 18 people were found corona infected here. During this 13 patients were cured. So far 9.53 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 9.44 lakh people have been cured, while 8,954 patients have died. Presently 213 patients are undergoing treatment.

 

6. Uttar Pradesh

On Sunday, 30 people were found infected here. During this, 36 people were cured, while 1 patient died. So far, more than 17.08 lakh people have been infected in the state. Of these, 16.85 lakh have been cured, while 22,784 patients have died. 439 patients are being treated here.

 

7. Madhya Pradesh

On Sunday, 13 new cases were reported here and 20 patients were cured. So far 7.92 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 7.81 lakh people have been cured, while 10,514 people died. 104 patients are currently undergoing treatment.
