India started their journey in the Asia Cup 2022 with a bang, registering a five-wicket win against Pakistan. There were many heroes in this victory of Team India, but Hardik Pandya was at the forefront of this race. Bhuvneshwar Kumar took four wickets, Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja played an innings of 35-35 runs, but Pandya played his all-rounder role well, taking three wickets and also hit 33 not out and also hit a winning six. Hardik was adjudged man of the match for this performance. Virender Sehwag's tweet for Hardik after the match is becoming very viral.

 

Sehwag wrote, 'Wow, whoa, whoa! Great Hardik Pandya, I will do everything. Bhuvi, Jaddu, and Virat also played well. It was fun watching India vs Pakistan match after a long time. It was great fun.'

 

India performed well against Pakistan in both the bowling and batting department. The Pakistan team was first all out for 147 runs and then achieved the target of 148 runs with two balls and five wickets remaining. Hardik Pandya completely engulfed this match.
