India is continuously raising the issue strongly before the Bangladesh government that Hindus and other minorities there are facing threats and targeted attacks. On Friday, the Ministry of External Affairs said that the interim government of Bangladesh should take responsibility for the safety of all its minorities. The ministry said we express concern over the increasing use of radical language, increasing incidents of violence, and cases of provocation in Bangladesh. These incidents cannot be considered just because the media is exaggerating them.
