Conflicts and stone pelting on the Singhu border; 8 times allowed farmers to get permission to enter Delhi

The agitation of the farmers against the agricultural laws of the Center has gone beyond the doors of Delhi. Ultimately, the government has bowed down and allowed farmers to enter Delhi. However, the tension remains at the Singhu border. Farmers of Haryana and Punjab are frozen in large numbers here. There is stone-pelting in between.

 

The Delhi Police had barricaded in three layers on the Singhu border. At the forefront were barbed wire. The trucks were then fitted like barricades. Eventually, the Water Cannon was stationed. Even such arrangements could not stop the farmers. Police of three states from the Punjab-Haryana border to the Delhi border tried to stop the farmers by making big blockades 8 times, but every time the farmers moved forward with the help of a tractor.

A large number of farmers gathered on the Singhu border

The farmers were stopped at the Singhu border in Delhi. Here they arrived in large numbers on a tractor. Police released tear gas here. There was some stone-throwing too. The peasants were adamant to enter Delhi. Some farmers sat on the dharna there and started cooking. The farmers said that we are demonstrating in peace. Continuing this, we will enter Delhi. Demonstrations should be allowed in a democracy.

Because of the peasant movement, the police sought permission from the Delhi government to build 9 stadiums as temporary jails, but the Delhi government, supporting the farmers, rejected the demand of the police.

 

Police dug roads, but farmers made their way

Just as large pits are seen on the road in many Naxal-affected areas of Bastar, similarly, the pits appeared on the highway. Police installed several JCBs. Used trucks for barricading. Even after this, farmers continued to make their way through the fields. Farmers are preparing for a big movement in Delhi. For this, they are carrying gas cylinders and stoves on tractors.

 

Conflict for the second consecutive day in Panipat

A major confrontation between the police and the farmers occurred on the second day in Panipat. A large number of farmers broke barricading and moved towards Delhi. The farmers of Punjab were also behind. He kept fighting with Haryana Police. Police called a JCB machine near the police station Sector-29 in Panipat and dug up the roads. Many farmers crossed the barricade several kilometers through the fields on the main highway near Shiva village and proceeded towards Delhi.

 

Farmers of Haryana said - We will eat the first sticks

When the agitation reached the Delhi border, the farmers of Haryana took over the command. Back and forth the farmers of Punjab were coming. The farmers of Haryana said that the police stationed on the Indus border, adjacent to Delhi, knew the farmer's leaders of Haryana. Farmer brothers have come from Punjab, they are our guests. So we will not forward them, but we will eat the first police sticks.

Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh said that I welcome the decision of the Center to give farmers entry in Delhi. Now the Center should immediately talk to the farmers in connection with their problems.

People were upset with the closure of the National Highway. Traffic diverted at many places on the Punjab-Haryana highway. People were forced to go to the fields. The way to Delhi will still be closed today.

Why the performance happening?

The Central Government has enacted 3 laws for agricultural reforms: The Farmers Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act; The Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement of Price Assurance and Farm Services Act and the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act were enacted. In protest against these, farmers of Punjab and Haryana have been on the roads for the last two months. Farmers feel that the government is going to remove the MSP, while the Prime Minister himself has denied it.
