Corona update: Nearly 15,000 new cases reported in the last 24 hours in the country, 312 people died

New Delhi: The total number of people infected with the Coronavirus in India has crossed 4 lakh 40 thousand. In the last 24 hours, 14 thousand 933 new cases of coronavirus have been reported and 312 people have died. According to the latest data of the Health Ministry, 4 lakh 40 thousand 215 people have been infected with Corona so far. Out of this 14011 have died, while two lakh 48 thousand 190 people have also been cured.

 

 

Fourth most affected country in the world

India is the fourth most affected country in the world according to the number of corona infections. After America, Brazil, Russia, India has come in fourth place among the countries most affected by the Corona epidemic. More cases than India are in America (2,388,153), Brazil (1,111,348), Russia (592,280). At the same time, the pace of increasing cases in India remains at number four in the world. After America and Brazil, the highest number of cases are being registered in India in one day.

 

 

Top 5 states in case of active case

According to statistics, at present, there are active cases of 1 lakh 76 thousand corona. The most active cases are in Maharashtra. In Maharashtra, more than 61 thousand infected people are being treated in hospitals. After this, Delhi is at number two, Tamil Nadu at number three, Gujarat at number four, and West Bengal at number five. These five states have the most active cases.
