A piece of frightening news has come to the fore amidst the rising corona infection in India. The mutated version of the Delta variant of Corona is causing a ruckus in Britain. Since October 11, more than 40 thousand corona infected is coming out there every day. On Monday, more than 48 thousand cases were registered here. In such a situation, once again an uncontrollable corona infection can be an alarm bell for India.

Half the population is vaccinated, yet corona is increasing

In Britain, more than half the population has taken both doses of the corona vaccine. Booster doses have also been started here. Despite this, the mutated version of Corona is spreading rapidly here. Experts say that this variant can be 10 times more infectious than the delta variant. However, scientists say that it is too early to say that this variant is more dangerous than Delta and it cannot be identified by normal tests.

UK vaccine being used in India too

More than half of the UK population has been fully or partially vaccinated. The AstraZeneca vaccine is being used here. The new variant of the coronavirus is also dodging the immunity created by the vaccine. AstraZeneca vaccine is being used the most in India too. The vaccine is being produced here by the Serum Institute in Pune under the name Covishield. In such a situation, it can prove to be scary news for India.

Increased number of passengers, Delta variant came from Britain only

Britain has completely opened its air borders. In the past, the dispute between India and Britain regarding the guidelines of corona infection has also almost calmed down. In such a situation, there is bound to be a rapid increase in the number of people traveling from Britain to India and from India to Britain. In fact, in the past, a statement was issued by Britain that a large number of citizens from India travel for education or business purposes. As of June 2021, 62,500 new students have been granted visas. This number is up 30 percent from last year.
