Coronavirus Updates: 1685 new cases of corona in the country, less than 22 thousand active cases

An update has been issued regarding new cases of corona infection in the country. According to the report of the Ministry of Health, there has been a decline in the cases of corona in the country in the last 24 hours. Today 1,685 new cases of corona have been reported. Apart from this, 83 people have also died during this period. Earlier on Thursday, 1,938 cases of corona were registered.

The Health Ministry said that 2,499 people of Corona have been discharged during this period. The active cases have come down to 21,530 now. So far, a total of 4,24,78,087 people of corona have been cured in the country while a total of 4,30,16,372 cases have been reported. At the same time, 5,16,755 patients have died due to corona so far. With this, the daily positivity rate has now increased to 0.24 percent.

Vaccination figure crossed 182.46 crores

On the other hand, the anti-Covid vaccination campaign is going on in the country at a rapid pace. So far, more than 182.46 crore doses of the vaccine have been given in the country. More than 97.94 crore people have been given the first dose of the vaccine while more than 82.42 crore second doses have been given. At the same time, more than 2.09 crore precaution doses have also been applied.
