Declaration: Gallantry award to 384 people this year, Param Vishisht Seva Medal to Neeraj Chopra, who won Olympic gold

The Central Government on Tuesday announced gallantry awards to be given to the Armed Forces Force. According to the list released, this time 384 soldiers and soldiers will be given gallantry awards. Out of these, 12 people have been announced to be awarded Shaurya Chakra, 29 to Param Vishisht Seva Medal. Neeraj Chopra of Rajputana Rifles, who won the gold medal for India in the Olympic Games last year, is also among the recipients of the Param Vishisht Seva Medal.

 

 

Apart from this, 4 Uttam Yudh Seva Medals, 53 Ati Vishisht Seva Medals, 13 Yudh Seva Medals and three 'Bars' of Vishisht Seva Medals are also to be given to the soldiers this year. It is worth noting that the soldiers who have already been awarded any gallantry award are given this award as a 'bar' and not as a medal again.
