Today is the 85th day of the peasant movement against agricultural laws. Farmers are stopping railways across the country today. This series started from 12 noon till 4 pm. This performance is showing more impact in Haryana-Punjab. Demonstrators are sitting on the track in several big cities of both states. Here, trains are also being stopped in Jaipur and nearby areas in Rajasthan. The impact of the demonstration is being seen at the Jagatpura railway station in Jaipur.

Political parties are also involved in this demonstration of farmers. In Patna, activists of the Jan Adhikar Party (democratic) started stopping the train half an hour before the scheduled time (12 noon). Some activists lay on the track, with the police taking them into custody.

The farmers say they want a peaceful demonstration. They also want to reach the public. It is not their motive to bother anyone. Therefore, milk and water arrangements have been made for the children traveling on the train.

Where is the impact of rail stop performance?

Haryana: Train movement has stopped on the track under the bridge near TDI City in Panipat. There the farmers are sitting on the track. The Bandra-Amritsar Paschim Express, which arrived at around 12.45 pm, was stopped by protesters. Now this train will be able to go beyond the TDI City railway gate only after 4 pm. Earlier, the Bathinda Express was delayed by one and a half hours, only stayed 2 minutes to pick up passengers. In Haryana, protesters will stop at about 80 places.

Punjab: Farmers will stop trains at 21 places in 15 districts here. Nabha in Patiala district, Sunam in Sangrur, Mansa, Barnala, Rampura in Bathinda, Mandi, Sangat and Goniana, Kotkapura in Faridkot, Giddarbaha in Muktsar, Abohar and Jalalabad in Fazilka, Ajitwal in Moga, Tarantaran in Jalandhar, Fategarh in Amritsar Will be stopped

Rajasthan: The protesters stopped the train at the Gandhinagar railway station in Jaipur. Demonstrations are also being held at Jagatpura station. Agitators are sitting on the tracks at Chaumun railway station in Jaipur district. Railways have put additional force on tracks and railway stations.

Metro also affected in NCR

The metro rail management is also taking precautions because of the performance of the farmers. Tikri Border Metro Station, Pandit Shriram Sharma, Bahadurgarh City, and Brig Hoshiar Singh Metro Station have been closed.

Railways deployed 20 thousand additional personnel

Because of the announcement of the farmers to stop the rail, 20 additional companies of the Railway Protection Special Forces (RPSF) have been deployed around the country. Most of them have been deployed in Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal. DG Arun Kumar of Railway Protection Force has appealed to the protesters to hold a peaceful demonstration and passengers traveling on the train should not face any problem.

Farmer leader said - no return home before return of law

Farmers are insistent that the government withdraw all three agricultural laws. Bharatiya Kisan Union (Haryana) President Gurnam Singh Chanduni has once again stated that his organization is fighting for the interests of farmers and they will not return to their homes till the return of new agricultural laws. Chanduni said that through programs like Panchayat and Mahapanchayat across the country, people will be told that the central government is not of the common people but corporates.
