Chandigarh, Feb 12 (IANS) The Haryana government is investigating thousands of recruitments that were made by the previous Congress government in Haryana led by Bhupinder Singh Hooda.
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar told the media in Ambala, 45 km from here, that irregularities committed in the recruitment procedure during the tenure of the previous government are being investigated.
He said that appointment letters have been issued to the Patwaris (village accountants) after investigation, whereas the selection of JBT (junior basic teacher) teachers is being investigated.
"Justice would be provided to those candidates, who are found to be genuine (in selection)," Khattar saidd.
He said that the Haryana government would soon fill up 47,000 vacancies in various government departments in the state.
"Apart from following the legal process, complete transparency and fairness would be ensured," he added.
