Maharashtra Lockdown News: Mumbai railway stations crowded amid fears of lockdown, Central Railway launches new trains

Because of rising corona cases in Maharashtra (Maharashtra Corona Cases) and the threat of lockdown, North Indian people and migrant laborers living in Mumbai are now returning to their home state. The presence of people is being recorded at all the stations in Mumbai, waiting for the trains going towards North India.

 

This time people don't want to take any risk

Night curfew and weekend lockdown in the state has aroused fear in the heart of the people. The wounds of the past lockdown are still fresh in the hearts of the people. So this time people do not want to take any risk.

 

Because of the increasing crowd of people (Central Railway), Central Railway has also increased the number of long-distance trains so that people do not have to face more problems. Central Railway has also announced to start some new trains of UP and Bihar from 7th April.

 

Bi-Weekly Superfast Special

 

Railways are increasing trains on various routes after frequent demand of passengers. In this episode, a bi-weekly superfast special is being run from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Mumbai to Faizabad and Karaikkal.

 

Train No. 01067 will leave every Wednesday and Saturday from LTT dated 14.4.2021 till next order at 06.00 hrs and reach Faizabad at 08.55 hrs the next day. In return train number 01068 Special will depart from Faizabad to Faizabad every Thursday and Sunday at 13.30 hrs from 15.4.2021 till further order and reach LTT at 16.05 hrs the next day.

 

Train No. 01017 will depart every Saturday from LTT till the next order from 17.4.2021 at 13.15 hrs and reach Karaikkal at 18.50 hrs the next day. In return, train no. 01018 weekly special will depart every Monday from Karaikkal to the next order at 14.00 hrs and reach LTT at 20.30 hrs the next day.

 

Reservation: Booking for 01067 and 01017 will open on 07.04.2021 at all computerized reservation centers and website www.irctc.co.in. Only passengers with confirmed tickets will be allowed to travel on these special trains. Passengers are advised to abide by all the norms, SOPs related to COVID19 during boarding, travel, and travel at destination.
