Russian ship reaches Syria with stolen grain from Ukraine

 

Maxar Technologies released satellite images on 27 May. In this, a ship named Matros Pozinich arrived at Latakia Port in Syria carrying about 30,000 tons of grain. Earlier, Ukrainians alleged that Russian troops stole more than 400,000 tonnes of grain from the occupied territories. Ukraine has also accused Russia of stealing steel from the city of Mariupol.

 

Russia bombed Severodonetsk and northern areas

The Ukrainian army said that Russia carried out bombings on Sunday in Sumy and Chernihiv in Ukraine's northern regions. The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces also said that Russia's target in the Donbas is to encircle our troops in the areas of Lysychansk and Severodonetsk and block the main logistic routes.

 

The Russian army is trying to gain a foothold in the north-eastern outskirts of the city of Severodonetsk. Russian efforts to cross the Siversky Donets River are ongoing in some areas. Ukraine's General Staff said Russian troops were trying to consolidate their positions in the northeast of Severodonetsk, Luhansk. The General Staff also said that Russian troops also launched attacks on Slovensk and Donetsk.

 

Poland to give 18 howitzers to Ukraine

 

Poland has decided to give 18 howitzers to Ukraine as military aid. These guns can fire up to 40 km. It can fire 6 times in a minute. In terms of military aid to Ukraine, Poland is the second-largest country after the US.
