Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board issued an advisory, beware of fraudsters in helicopter ticket booking

Be careful if you want to go by helicopter to see Shri Mata Vaishno. You can also be a victim of fraud by selling helicopter tickets or offerings in advertisements posted on some unauthorized websites. Therefore, get all the online services provided by the Shrine Board only from the official website or app of the Shrine Board.

 

Taking cognizance of the complaints of online fraud from the devotees of Mata Vaishno Devi, the Shrine Board has issued an advisory. Board's Chief Executive Officer Ramesh Kumar has appealed to the pilgrims to beware of fraudsters. He has advised the devotees to use only the official website of Shrine Board www.maavaishnodevi.org and the Mata Vaishno Devi app for booking tickets.

 

Ramesh Kumar informed that complaints regarding cheating of pilgrims by fraudsters have already been lodged with the Crime Branch and Cyber ​​Branch of Jammu and Kashmir Police, which is probing the matter. He said that the sale of helicopter tickets for pilgrims going from Katra to Sanjichhat and back is the sole prerogative of the Shrine Board.

 

The Board has not authorized any agent, agency, or person to use our website. All the online services are being provided by the Shrine Board through the official website and app only. Along with this, the board has also put up hoardings at all major places to caution the devotees.
