किताब के सूखे फूल-सी धुंधली याद बन जाते हैं,
तब सफर में हमसफर सा साथ दे जाते हैं लम्हें। > जब छलक कर नम आंखों का जल बन जाते हैं,
वो लम्हे, नासूरी का लम्हा-लम्हा दर्द दे जाते हैं। > कभी शब्दों का, कभी लफ्जों का खेल, खेल जाते हैं,
कभी कलम के फूल, बन अंगार ढह जाते हैं, लम्हे।
मीठी-मीठी बातों में चुप के सौ पहरे बन जाते हैं,
फिर रूह को छूकर अनकहे ही गुजर जाते हैं, लम्हें।
जब ठहरे पानी में पत्थरों से, हलचल कर जाते हैं,
वो लम्हे, आईने को तकते, एक इतिहास बन जाते हैं।
