रात भर रोती रही वो आँखें,

जाने किसकी याद में जागती रही वो आँखें।

 

अश्को की अब क्या कीमत लगायी जाये

की हर आंसू के गिरते,

किसी को पुकारती रही वो आँखें।

 

पलकों पे तस्वीर लिए मेहबूब का,

तरसती रही वो आँखें।

 

कहना चाहा बहुत कुछ,

पर खामोश रही वो आँखें।

 

उन आँखों को चाहिए था दीदार अपने मेहबूब का

जो रूठ के चला गया हैं कही दूर,

उसके लौट आने की राह तख्ती रही वो आँखें..
