There is no doubt that Washington is getting a new challenge from China, the Indian market and its growing military power are now a big need of America. But the success of Indian diplomacy cannot be denied in this. Indian diplomacy has wisely pursued its friendship with the US in line with its interests. The principled value of Indian foreign policy is secure in this close friendship between the two countries. Today India is completely free to pursue its bilateral relations. There is no pressure from any country on it.

 

3- The special thing is that this red list of America has come at a time when the supply of Russia's S-400 missile system has started in India and America is strongly opposing it. If America wanted, it could have vented its anger by including India in the Red List on the pretext of S-400. This indicates that it is not forcing any change in the doctrinal aspects of Indian foreign policy. This proves that the relations between the two countries are moving in the right direction and condition.

 

4- The growing dominance of the Indian population in America has affected the politics there. The effect of the increasing dominance of Indians in the politics of America was also shown in the US presidential election. In the US, the two major parties (Democratic and Republican) are not immune to this influence. Therefore, it can be said that the domination of the Indian people in American politics has given a new dimension to relations with India. This can be gauged from the fact that a large number of people of Indian origin are in the team of the Biden administration.

 

What is the big reason for America's love for India?

 

There is no doubt that China is a big factor behind Indian love. Relations between the US and China have been strained in recent years. China has targeted US interests in Hong Kong, Taiwan, the Indian Ocean, and the South China Sea. The US is facing tough competition from China in the Indian Ocean and the South China Sea. The regional balance in South Asia has been changed by Chinese intervention. America knows that India is most important to deal with China's challenges. India is now a big need of America. This is the reason why Biden's former Trump had publicly called India his best friend many times.

1- Actually, a commission of America assesses religious freedom in all the countries of the world every year. Then recommends to the US administration which countries should put it on the Red List. The name of this commission is the US Commission on International Religious Freedom. Human rights violations, victims of abusers, and those who have suffered are also placed in this category. Based on the commission's report, the US administration annually releases a list of countries and organizations that do not meet the standards of the US International Religious Freedom Act.

 

2- Recently, US Secretary of State Blinken has released a list of countries that violate religious freedom. The names of Pakistan and China are also included in this list. 10 countries have been included in this list including Pakistan, China, Taliban, Iran, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Eritrea, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Burma. In addition, the US has placed Algeria, Comoros, Cuba, and Nicaragua on a special watch list, which is involved in serious violations of religious freedom.

 

3- Let us inform you that in the last year 2020, after the assessment of religious freedom, the names of four countries for the CPC list were suggested to the Ministry of External Affairs. It includes India, Russia, Syria, and Vietnam, but except Russia, none of these countries were included in the list. The Citizenship Amendment Act was the most important among the points on which the Commission had expressed concern about India. The commission's report said that during the Delhi riots, a clean chit was given to the Hindu mob and excessive force was used on the Muslim people. This report of the commission was opposed by the Government of India. At that time, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in the Trump administration also rejected the recommendation to list India as a CPC, saying that India is more important in the economic and military field.
