India-Canada Row: After the murder of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, there has been a rift in India and Canada's relations. Canadian PM Justin Trudeau accused India of involvement in the murder, denouncing which Foreign Ministry spokesman Arindam Bagchi described it as 'absurd and' inspired 'inspired'. Now America has also jumped on this matter.
'India can speak itself'
US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said that India itself can speak about the Canadian allegations related to the murder of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. He said that the US has urged India to cooperate in the Canadian investigation.
When Matthew Miller was asked what the Government of India had said on the call to cooperate in the Canadian investigation of America, he refused to comment on it. Miller said that he could speak for himself. I will not talk in private diplomatic conversation.
When the US State Department spokesman was asked whether the Canada issue would be discussed between Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar and US Secretary of State Antony Blinkan, he said that he could not publicly tell what would be discussed between the two.
Antony Blinkan expressed concern
Earlier, Antony Blinkan had said that the US is extremely concerned about the allegations made by the Canadian PM about the involvement of the Indian government in Nijjar's murder. He said that America wants to see accountability. We want India to support Canada in this investigation.
