The sky is cloudy in the Delhi-NCR region. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), light rain is expected in many parts of Delhi-NCR. The Southwest Monsoon has reached Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and many parts of Karnataka, but people in North India will have to wait till the end of June for the first monsoon rains of the year. However, IMD has predicted 103 percent rainfall.

IMD has predicted light rain in Delhi. Also, the Meteorological Department has predicted the maximum temperature to be around 42 degrees Celsius. Delhi's minimum temperature on Thursday was recorded at 26.6 degrees Celsius, a notch below normal. The IMD said that under the influence of these meteorological conditions, there is a possibility of scattered rains in Himachal Pradesh till Friday.

Heavy rain will occur in many parts of West Bengal

The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal in the next four days. The Meteorological Department also said that the conditions have become favorable for the further advance of the Southwest Monsoon into the region by Friday.

The Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rain and strong winds in Gangetic West Bengal in the next few days. The IMD said that there is a possibility of heavy rain in the northeastern states with isolated heavy rains over West Bengal, Sikkim, and the northeast in the next few days. The Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rains in Sikkim and the northeastern states in the next four days. It will rain in many parts of Assam, Meghalaya, and Arunachal Pradesh.

Now the possibility of pre-monsoon activity in June is also less

This time Nautapa is less hot than in other years, so pre-monsoon activity will also be less, there is less chance of more rain in June. There is a possibility of some pre-monsoon activity from the second week of June onwards.

Know what is Nautapa

Madhya Pradesh meteorologist AK Shukla says – Nautapa, that is, the hot summer before the monsoon. Due to this, the air gets heated and rises. After rising, the moist, ie south-westerly winds come from the ocean to fill the space, due to which a system or cloud is formed. Then it rains from them.
