More than 42 thousand patients increased within seven days

According to the statistics of the Union Health Ministry, more than 42 thousand people have been found infected in the country within the last seven days. Meanwhile, 97 people have also died due to the infection. Seven thousand 830 people have been found infected within a day on Tuesday, which is the highest in 223 days. With this, the number of active cases in the country has also crossed 40 thousand. Now there are 40 thousand 215 patients in the country who are infected. They are either admitted to the hospital or are getting their treatment done by staying at home.

 

In more than two lakh tests, 16 died

According to the Ministry of Health, two lakh 14 thousand 242 people got the corona test done on Tuesday. In this, 3.65 i.e. 7,830 people were found infected. According to statistics, 16 people also died due to the infection in the last 24 hours. Two infected people lost their lives in Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, and Punjab, while one death each was recorded in Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Haryana, and Gujarat. Kerala recorded five deaths. So far five lakh 31 thousand 16 people have died due to infection in the country.

After September 1, 2022, the maximum number of seven thousand 946 people have been found infected on Tuesday.

 

So far four crores of 47 lakh 76 thousand people have come under the grip of infection in the country.

  The remaining 98.72 percent of people have been cured. 1.19 percent of patients have died.

 

220.66 crore doses of Covid vaccine have been administered in the country.

We asked this question to Dr. Rajinikanth, director of the Regional Medical Research Center, Gorakhpur, Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). He said, 'There is no sound of the fourth wave right now. Most of the people in the country have got the corona vaccine. That's why there is no need to be afraid but to be protected. Covid protocol should be followed for prevention.

 

Dr. Rajinikanth said, 'Everyone should follow the Covid protocol. If any symptoms are found in anyone, then he should get himself tested immediately. Apart from this, wear a mask if you get symptoms.

 

Will there be a lockdown?

Dr. Rajinikanth also gave a clear answer to this question of the people. He said that the condition in the country is absolutely fine now. In such a situation, there is no question of imposing a lockdown.
