The question of marriage came up during Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra. The answer was very interesting. Rahul was talking about his grandmother Indira Gandhi during the visit. He said- Indira Gandhi is the love of his life, his second mother.
On this answer, the question was again asked - Do you want to marry such a woman, who has qualities like your grandmother? Do you want such a girl for marriage? On this Rahul said – This is an interesting question. I would like a woman who has the qualities of both my mother and grandmother. that would be nice.
Rahul said this during the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Mumbai in the Bombay Journey special episode of the YouTube channel Mashable India. The video of the interview surfaced on YouTube on Tuesday.
Question- When someone says Pappu, did it ever hit your heart?
Rahul- No, this is a propaganda campaign and it is from his heart. This is the fear within those people, whose life nothing is happening.
Question- Your grandmother is called Iron Lady of India?
Rahul- She was also called a dumb doll. Those who attack me 24 hours a day, the same people called Indiraji a dumb doll. Then that woman became the Iron Lady. She was always the Iron Lady.
Question- Do you have a lot of interest in cycling too?
Rahul- Yes, I keep doing some sport or penance. My father was a pilot. I learned from him. Flying this plane is your attitude and way of thinking. My father told me one thing. He had said that if you fly the plane, the plane will fly you... Don't let this happen. The meaning was that you i.e. the pilot is always in front of the plane. The pilot sees things from a height of 30 thousand. What you see from that height is not what you would see on the street. The pilot always sees from above. You can see where the problems are.
Question- In 2010 you started a journey by train, what was the motivation?
Rahul - Not since 2010. I always do these trips. The press targets me for some political reasons. He obstructs what I start. The press shows only a select few aspects of what I do. I want to know what it's like to be an immigrant worker. I sat in the third class and talked to a painter from Gorakhpur. Whatever comes in front of me, I want to understand it.
Question- Do you have cars and bikes? Have a Land Cruiser?
Rahul- Actually I do not own any car. I drive my mother's CRV. I've never been interested in cars. Yes, I am interested in driving. I have a motorbike. I am not interested in motor bikes, but I like to ride them. You talk to me about the car, the engine. I can tell 90% of things are right. I can fix the car. I like to walk I love air, water or land...I like to walk fast. I love the old Lambretta just as much as the R-1. RD-350 is preferred. There are two strokes. is dangerous. She doesn't do anything for a while and suddenly she runs away. RS-250 is the love of my life. I used to drive it while studying in London.
Question- With which place in India are you more connected? Delhi-Mumbai?
Answer- Delhi, but riding there is very dangerous. I prefer cycling over motorcycling. It takes the strength of your body. My father was born in Mumbai. I haven't spent much time here. I don't even know about the food here, because I am cautious about food. Doesn't eat too much oil. Doesn't eat too much sugar.
