Arun Govil, who played the character of Ram, is saddened by the demise of actor Arvind Trivedi, who became known for his role as Ravana on TV. Both the characters were opposites on-screen, but in real life, both were best friends. Saddened by the demise of Arvind Trivedi, Arun Govil, in a conversation with Dainik Bhaskar, shared the grief of losing a true friend, saying, "The best friend is gone."

Arun Govil said, "I got the news of his departure in the morning, very sad. We talked on the phone 10 days ago. Then he was not feeling well. I inquired about his well-being. Were talking a little. That day I felt like this from his talk. Thought he might have realized his last moments. Today this sad news has come."

Arun says, "Arvind Ji may have been in the character of Ravana, but life was simple and true and religious. There cannot be a good and positive person like him. If we talk about finding fault in a person, then Arvind Trivedi is that person. We can see that during the shooting of the show, he remembered a lot of episodes from Ramayana.

 

Arvind used to call me Lord

Govil said- "It was a great experience working with him. Both Ram and Ravana are the main characters of Ramayana. In such a situation, there are often conflicts between the two main actors. But this has never happened between us. Even if I was in the getup, I would have liked it. Prabhu would call. He was a master of acting. We were very good friends, worked like friends. We never had a competition for acting or work."

“Arvind Ji was so scholarly and religious that it was difficult to guess. We used to call me Prabhu whenever we were on shooting or outside at some event. We used to call me Prabhu when we talked on the phone that day also. So first of all, join hands, touch my feet. Before shooting on the set, I would touch my feet and then start shooting.

"He did a documentary launch program at Bharati Vidya Bhavan. There he called me and got the event started. He said I want to get this auspicious work done by Arunji only. "We met on the set of Ramayana, gradually the acquaintance increased, things started happening, then one day I told him I am from Meerut. So he started saying that you are from my in-laws. Accordingly, I became your brother-in-law. I doubted him. If you see from it, then look at the religious texts and the history of Meerut, it is mentioned in it that Ravana's wife Mandodari was from Meerut. Maydanav made Meerut as his capital. You are from Meerut, so according to this, I became your brother-in-law. Will kill brother-in-law. We used to laugh at this often."
