Meanwhile, an agreement has also been reached between India and Qatar to transfer convicted prisoners to another country. Under this, they can also be sent to India after a certain interval to serve the remaining imprisonment. Eight former Indian Navy officers working at Doha-based Al-Dahra Global Technology were arrested in Qatar. In this regard, news was published in some newspapers in Qatar that he was accused of spying for Israel.
Al-Dahra Global Technology was working on a contract for the Qatar Navy. This company has now been closed. He was sentenced to death by a Qatar court on October 26, 2023.
