AAP complains to poll panel against Bedi

Posted on 7th Feb 2015 05:01 pm by mohit kumar

New Delhi, Feb 7 (IANS) The AAP urged the Election Commission to act against BJP's chief ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi for campaigning on the day of the Delhi assembly elections Saturday.

In a letter signed by Rishikesh Kumar of the Aam Aadmi Party's Legal Cell, the party said Bedi was part of a 'padyatra' and a bike rally in her Krishna Nagar constituency.

The AAP said she was accompanied by hundreds of Bharatiya Janata Party workers armed with campaign material. Bedi also spoke to voters. "Please do the needful ... against Bedi," the complaint said.
