Improvement in NCR's air pollution continued for the second day as well. Hence, the air quality also remained in the 'poor' category. According to Safar India, due to moderate wind speed, the pollution level has come down and will more or less remain in the same range for now. According to the Air Quality Bulletin released by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Delhi's Air Index (AQI) on Monday was 270, which is in the 'poor' category. The AQI was 213 a day earlier on Sunday. That is, within 24 hours, an increase of 67 points has been registered in it.

PM 2.5 and PM 10 levels have been recorded at 103 and 212 micrograms per cubic meter respectively. According to Safar India, the wind will blow at a speed of 8 to 14 kmph for the next three days. During this, the dust cover will remain in the atmosphere at a height of one to one and a half kilometers. Therefore, air quality is likely to remain in the 'poor' category.
