Bhuvneshwar Won the Award Six Times
Bhuvneshwar Kumar—who joined the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the 2025 IPL season—was a part of SRH from 2014 to 2024 and ranks among the players with the most matches played for the team. Bhuvneshwar played 145 matches for SRH, winning the ‘Player of the Match’ award six times during that period.
Abhishek’s Second Century for SRH
This marked Abhishek’s second century while playing for SRH. He has now become the third batsman—after David Warner and Heinrich Klaasen—to score two centuries for the team. In IPL 2025, Abhishek played a magnificent innings of 141 runs off just 55 balls against the Punjab Kings, featuring 10 sixes and 14 fours.

In T20 cricket, Abhishek Sharma has set a remarkable record that has left even legendary batsmen in his wake. He has achieved the feat of scoring over 130 runs in a single T20 innings on four occasions—a milestone no other player has reached more frequently. In this regard, he has surpassed even the greatest players in T20 history, Chris Gayle and Aaron Finch, both of whom have scored 130-plus runs in an innings three times each.
