Kochi, Jan 31 (IANS) Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko and four women were taken into custody here for possessing cocaine valued Rs.1 million in the international market, police here said Saturday.
They were taken into custody on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday from a flat of controversial businessman Muhammed Nisham. Of the four women, one works in Dubai, police said.
Chacko began his film career as an assistant director besides playing small roles. In his last release "Ithihasa", Chacko plays the central role.
Police are questioning them and will produce them before a magistrate later in the day.
