The admission process for Kendriya Vidyalayas has started for the academic session 2021-22. This time the admission process has started from April 01, 2021. It has been reported by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) that the online registration process for admission to the first class has been started from April 01, 2021. As per the notification, the last date for online registration for the admission of children in class-1 has been fixed on April 19, 2021. That is, the parents have only 19 days. Parents wishing to enroll their children in Kendriya Vidyalaya can apply till 7 pm on 19 April 2021. Whereas registration for the second class and above classes can be done from 08 am on 08 April 2021 to 04 pm on 15 April 2021.

 

It is to be noted that the application process for class-1 by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan will be conducted in online mode and offline mode for classes and above. Admission to class-2 and above will depend on the availability of seats in the respective school. For detailed information regarding the admission process of Kendriya Vidyalayas, parents can visit the official website of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. Explain that for the admission of children in the first grade in the central schools, it is necessary to have a birth certificate of the child.

 

Apart from this, parents can also get information through the Android mobile app of KVS. The registration papers for admission to the first class can be downloaded from the website of Kendriya Vidyalaya. After the process of registration for admission is over, the detailed list of students enrolled on the official website will be released by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. If the seats remain vacant after the first list is issued, the second and third lists are also issued. Note that the list will be released by each Kendriya Vidyalayas on their page of kvs.gov.in website.

 

How to apply?

 

First of all, go to the Kendriya Vidyalaya online admission portal kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in.

After this, click on the link to the register given on the website.

Read all the guidelines that appear on the screen and click on the Proceed button to proceed.

Submit all the information sought here with accuracy.

Read the message on the phone and log in with ID.

Upload photos, signatures, and other documents here.

Select a favorite school.

After completing all the processes, apply.

 

Neither exam nor interview, admission from lottery

 

The child does not have to take any written test or interview for admission to the first grade in the central school. Parents of children also do not have to give interviews. First-class seats in Kendriya Vidyalaya are filled through a lottery process. Here, according to categories, the number of seats is reserved. 40 children are admitted to a section. Out of this, 27 percent or 11 seats are given for OBC, 15 percent or six seats for SC, 7.5 percent or three seats for ST, and 25 percent or 10 seats for children belonging to a poor and disadvantaged category.
