Khalistan supporter Amritpal Singh's passport, which has become a headache for the police, was not found at his house. On Thursday, the police officer reached Amritpal Singh's house and demanded the passport of the accused from the family members. When the police asked for his passport, the family told him that his passport was not at home.
It is feared that immediately after the absconding, the family members of Amritpal Singh had sent the passport somewhere so that this passport could be in the hands of Amritpal as soon as he got a chance and there would be no obstacle in his way to escape abroad.
The family did not cooperate with the police
So far, the police have not received any kind of cooperation from the family members of the accused Amritpal Singh. Presently, for the last two days, the police is asking the family of the accused to surrender him (Amritpal). It is feared that Amritpal Singh was in touch with his family through internet media till March 20. After this, he did not contact the family.
Sent a reminder of LOC again
Security agencies are in a quandary after Amritpal slipped from the hands of the police. It is being told that the accused is trying to escape abroad in some way or the other and for this Pakistan's intelligence agency is helping Amritpal through its operatives sitting in India.
Now the police have sent reminders to the airport, sea-port, and land port regarding the Look Out Circular (LOC) to nab the accused.
ISI is getting all the arrangements to leave the country
Police clamped down on Khalistan supporter Amritpal Singh, and at the same time, Pakistan's intelligence agency ISI also became active. The ISI ordered its agents and operatives sitting in India to strengthen Amritpal's security cordon at the same time.
Alert in Uttarakhand
Amritpal Singh fled from Punjab and took refuge in Uttarakhand. He took shelter in a house in Uttarakhand and a woman has been detained in this case. Dodging the tight security of the Punjab Police, Amritpal fled to Uttarakhand and he stopped there after throwing dust in the eyes of the Uttarakhand Police.
An alert has been issued in the state since Amritpal stayed in Uttarakhand. On Friday, an alert has been issued in the Dehradun, Haridwar, and Udham Singh Nagar districts of the state.
Uttarakhand Director General of Police said that this alert has been done as a precautionary measure because of the possibility of 'Waris Punjab De' chief Amritpal Singh entering the state. Intensive checking is being done at the borders of all the 3 districts and other areas.
