Another announcement by the Shivraj government: 2000-bed Covid Hospitals to be built in Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, and Jabalpur; Free ration to poor for 3 months

The Shivraj government made a big announcement on Corona on Monday. 2,000-bed hospitals will be opened in 4 big cities of the state, Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, and Jabalpur. It will take help from voluntary organizations. On the other hand, the government has also decided to give free ration to the poor (holding BPL card) for 3 months. CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan took this decision in a meeting with the collectors of the state on Monday.

 

There are 12,897 new cases of corona in 24 hours in the state, while 79 records have been recorded. The maximum number of 1,703 patients reported positive on Sunday in the capital Bhopal. 5 infected died. In Jabalpur, a patient waited for 4 hours in bed, he died in an ambulance outside the hospital.

 

Talking about the whole state, 5,435 new cases occurred in 4 big cities in 24 hours. 1,698 new patients were found in Indore, 877 in Jabalpur, and 1,157 in Gwalior. A maximum of 9 deaths occurred in the state in Gwalior. Here the positivity rate has also crossed 43%.

Indore: Active case 11,000, beds fall short

7 died on Sunday in Indore. Active cases have reached 11,804. Patients are not able to get beds in hospitals. However, there is some relief from the start of oxygen supply from Bhilai and Jamnagar. There is still a shortage of oxygen in small hospitals.

 

Bhopal: Remedesiver's black marketing speed

On Sunday, 5 infected people died in Bhopal. It is a matter of relief that 1,457 patients also recovered. Here 10,310 people have been infected in a week, while in Indore this number stood at 10,029. This is the reason that Bhopal and Indore are among the 10 most infected districts of the country. The black marketing of Remadecivir injection has intensified in Bhopal. The police raided 2-3 places on Sunday and seized Remedicivir injections.

 

Jabalpur: 15 succumbed at Victoria Hospital

In the last 18 hours, 15 infected people died in Victoria Hospital. Of these, 8 people died on Sunday. At the Chauhan, Tilwara crematorium, and graveyard, 72 corpses were cremated under the Covid protocol. These include a 22-year-old man. The youth's family members allege that the oxygen supply was reducing the pressure.

 

Former AIR correspondent Salil Rai was referred to Jabalpur Medical College from Mandla. When his family reached the medical college, he continued to bother to shift him in the ward for 4 hours. Many officers also called, but they could not shift in the ward. He died in an ambulance. Oxygen is also provided in hospitals. Due to this, people are taking cylinders on auto and scooty to the hospital.

 

Gwalior - New patients above 1 thousand for 3 consecutive days

In Gwalior, in the last three days, more than a thousand new infections have come out every day. On Sunday, 1 thousand 157 new corona infections have been reported in 2 thousand 649 sample reports. Most infected in a day so far. 17 infected have also died. 9 of them are from Gwalior. The rest belong to other districts.
