
Crime Branch Seeks Custody of Sachin Waze: The Crime Branch of Mumbai Police has demanded the custody of Sachin Waze, arrested in the Antilia case and Mansukh deer murder case. Along with this, the Crime Branch has also sought custody for interrogating the sacked PI Sunil Mane. Former Mumbai Police officer Sachin Waje is accused of the Antilia incident and Mansukh's murder with extortion money.
The crime branch told the NIA court that on the complaint of businessman Bimal Agarwal, a case of recovery has been registered against Parambir Singh and Sachin Waje at the Goregaon police station. In such a situation, the Crime Branch has claimed that they have found some such evidence, related to which it is mandatory to interrogate Sachin Waje.
When will the next hearing take place?
The court has fixed October 22 for hearing the application related to Sachin Waje. The court has directed to file a reply from the hospital built in the jail, after which the court will decide on Waje's custody. In this case, the Crime Branch has also demanded the custody of PI Sunil Mane. The Crime Branch said that there is a need to interrogate him in this case as well.
This demand of the crime branch has been accepted by the court and the court has accepted the application with custody as valid. However, the court has allowed the crime branch to interrogate sacked PI Sunil Mane and the court will decide on the custody of Sachin Waje in the next hearing.
The Crime Branch will interrogate Sunil Mane on October 18 and 19 from 10 am to 5 pm. The Mumbai Police Inspector was arrested on 23 April by the NIA in connection with the recovery of an explosive-laden Scorpio car found near Antilia, Mukesh Ambani's house in Mumbai.
