The Supreme Court had rejected the petition seeking Atiq's security
Nearly two weeks before mafia Atiq Ahmed was shot dead in Prayagraj on Saturday, the Supreme Court had dismissed a plea seeking his protection during the custody of the Uttar Pradesh police in the Umesh Pal murder case. Uttar Pradesh government will take care of security
