The government has taken strict action against China's mobile apps for the third time within 78 days of the clash in Galvan on the night of 15 June. The center on Wednesday banned 118 apps, including mobile gaming app PUBG. PubG has been downloaded by over 175 million people in India alone.
Giving information about the ban, the Center said that these apps threaten India's security and sovereignty. For the first time after the clash of Indo-China troops in Galvan, the government on June 29 had banned 59 Chinese apps, stating the same reason. On 27 July, 47 apps were banned. This time also the government has taken this step when tensions in Ladakh are increasing and Chinese troops have tried to infiltrate twice. This happened when the commanders of the two countries were in talks to normalize the situation.

Earlier, the Center has banned 106 Chinese apps so far. The apps app was banned a month ago. Earlier, the government had banned 59 apps like Tick Talk, UC Browser, Hello, and Share It. The government said that the servers of these Chinese apps exist outside India. Through them, users' data was being stolen. They also threatened the security and unity of the country. For this reason, it was decided to ban them.
