BJP forgot the code of conduct and sent SMS of publicity; 32.82% voting till 1 pm

There is an election in Bihar. Voting is to be held in three phases. Voting is going on in 94 seats of the second phase. Voting started late due to EVM malfunction in several booths in 5 districts. As of 1 pm, 32.82% voting has been done. The first phase had a turnout of 55.9%. Voting for the third phase will take place on 7 November. The results will come on 10 November.

 

Earlier, the BJP sent SMS to appeal to increase voting because of bad voting percentage till 10 am. Did not campaign in this, but after 2 hours sending a lump sum message from AD-BJPBIH said that the vote percentage in your area is low, get more and more voting to win BJP.

 

Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi said after voting that people should leave their homes and use the franchise. Keep social distancing and wear a mask.

 

The EVM of booth number 245A of Loknathpurganj of Ujiarpur assembly constituency of Samastipur turned out to be bad during the mock poll. Information was given to the Sector Magistrate. Then the team came and corrected it. Polling started 15 minutes late.

 

Booth number 89 in Darbhanga Urban, booths 121 and 136 in Gopalganj, Urdu Middle School in Muzaffarpur, Bachwara in Begusarai also delayed the commencement of voting due to malfunctioning of EVMs.

 

Mahagathbandhan Chief Ministerial candidates Tejashwi Yadav, elder brother Tej Pratap and mother Rabri Devi cast their votes in booth-160 of Patna.

 

Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi also came to vote early in the morning at Patna's St. Joseph High School, he also voted immediately, but others present there were upset with the VIP treatment he received. People used to say that we have been standing in line for half an hour, but they came and went by casting their votes. People here were in line from around 6.30 am. During this time, a doctor standing in the line said that we have been in the line for a long time, but what to do now, this is VIP syndrome.

 

BJP state president Sanjay Jaiswal cast vote at booth number 61 of Bettiah assembly. Upendra Kushwaha cast his vote along with his family in his village Javaj in Mahanar Assembly constituency. Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Shri Nityanand Rai cast vote in Hajipur and JDU state executive president and minister Ashok Chaudhary along with wife and daughter in Patna.

 

Tej Pratap's father-in-law and JDU candidate from Parsa Chandrika Rai said that Chirag Paswan lives in Delhi, he does not know about the ground reality here. They wear branded clothes, they have a 5-star culture.

 

The Election Commission has extended the voting time by one hour due to Corona. Polling will be held for 86 seats out of 94 from 7 am to 6 pm. The remaining 8 seats will be voted from 7 am to 4 am. It also includes the Raghopur seat of Tejashwi Yadav.

 

In 2015, JDU and BJP won 50 of the 94 seats where voting is taking place. RJD won 33 seats. In terms of party, RJD got the maximum 33 seats in 2015, JDU 30 seats, and BJP 20 seats.

Maximum 27 candidates Maharajganj and lowest 4 candidates in Darauli seat.

 

The RJD is leading in 52 seats, BJP and LJP are contesting on 44-44 seats. JDU is contesting on 34 seats and Congress in 22 seats.

 

41 thousand 362 polling stations have been built. 60 thousand 240 EVMs will be used.

 

Pirpanti is the largest assembly in terms of voters. There are 3.34 lakh voters here. Among them, 1.78 lakh are male, 1.56 lakh are female and 12 are transgender.

 

Cherie is the smallest assembly constituency in Beriyarpur. There are 2.48 lakh voters here. These include 1.30 lakh men, 1.17 lakh women, and 22 transgenders.
