Each day of Navratri is dedicated to a specific form of Mother Goddess and by worshiping each form, different types of desires are fulfilled. It is believed in the scriptures that the Goddess comes to earth during these nine days and removes all the troubles of her devotees and grants them happiness, good fortune, knowledge, and longevity, hence Navratri is the best time to worship Goddess Bhagwati. During the nine days of Navratri, the one who controls these eleven – five senses of knowledge, five senses of action, and one mind – is the same Supreme Power that is omnipresent in the soul, the Supreme Soul, the Bhootakash, the Chittakaash, and the Chidakaash. If they are worshiped with devotion, then all four pursuits of religion, artha, kama, and moksha are attained.

If you do not know any mantra at the time of worshiping the Mother Goddess, then you can only worship with the Navarna mantra given in Durga Saptashati 'Om Ain Hreem Kleem Chamundayai Vichche' and offer the worship material while reciting this mantra.
This mantra of Mata Shakti is infallible. If possible, make sure to offer makeup items and coconut flakes to the Goddess. Lighting a ghee lamp towards the southeast from your place of worship 'Om Deepo Jyotirah Parabrahma Deepo Jyotir Janardanah.
