China stunned by our strength in Kailash range: Troops increasing in Ladakh after ruckus in Tawang

Posted on 23rd Dec 2022 01:58 pm by rohit kumar

The skirmish with the Chinese Army in Arunachal's Tawang sector is being seen as an attempt to divert attention from the Ladakh sector. On the pretext of infiltrating the eastern sector, China has strengthened its military infrastructure to provide logistics support to its 70,000 soldiers stationed on that side of Depsang, Damchowk, and Chumar.

According to sources, the Chinese army has made preparations to sit on the other side of the buffer zones created last year, from where the face-to-face deployment was withdrawn after prolonged negotiations. PLA has deployed surveillance drones on a large scale in these areas to keep an eye on India.

The PLA is trying not to repeat the way the Indian Army defeated it by deploying in the Kailash range. According to sources, China is creating this game as a long-term strategy. China is repeatedly creating controversies. He intends to convert LAC into a LOC-like situation. Like the Line of Control between India and Pakistan. Here the armies of both countries are face to face.

3 main reasons for China's trickery

The Chinese have realized that in the next decade, the population-economy gap between the two will end and India will give direct competition to China in every aspect globally. In such a situation, India will be able to settle the border dispute in its favor by becoming strong.

India has changed its strategy of not building infrastructure in the border area. By increasing the infrastructure, India now immediately catches Chinese activities.

China wants to threaten other countries by showing squareness in the border dispute. In this way, he wants to show his military strength at the international level.

23 areas are disputed on LAC, out of which 13 are strategically important

There are 23 areas of dispute on the India-China LAC, out of which 13 are major. China is strategically weak in 5 areas out of 7 disputed areas in the Ladakh sector.

6 disputed areas are in the eastern sector. The PLA returned to the heights after the 1962 war.

Last year, 5 disputed areas of Ladakh were made buffer zones. Due to this, the situation of LAC became like LOC, because there is no patrolling in the buffer zone.

17th round of talks after Tawang clash, deadlock persists

The 17th round of meetings of the military commanders of the two countries was held for the first time after the skirmish with the Chinese troops on December 9 in Tawang. The meeting took place on the Chushul-Moldo border on the Chinese side on 20 December. Both sides have agreed to maintain peace and security on the LAC in the western sector. Both sides agreed on mutual contact and talks through military-diplomatic channels. Also agreed to work on mutually acceptable solutions to the remaining issues at the earliest.

Opposition adamant on the discussion on the border dispute, the uproar in Parliament on the 12th day

The Lok Sabha remained deadlocked throughout the day on Thursday over the opposition's demand for a discussion on the border dispute with China. Lok Sabha proceedings were adjourned for the whole day due to uproar and sloganeering by opposition members.
