
New Delhi, Feb 11 (IANS) The CISF Wednesday bagged the best marching contingent trophy for this year's Republic Day parade.
An official statement said the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) was honoured with the trophy for being the best marching contingent among paramilitary forces by Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha during an award ceremony held at the defence ministry here.
Army chief General Dalbir Singh, Admiral R.K. Dhowan and other senior officers were present in the function along with CISF Director General Arvind Ranjan.
