At present, the havoc of winter is continuing in many states including Delhi-NCR, UP, Haryana. Not only this, till January 9, the rain will continue in all the states of North West and North India. Rainy weather will continue over North Indian states like Delhi-NCR, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, UP, and Central India. This situation has arisen due to two consecutive western disturbances. According to the latest statement of IMD, due to a fresh Western Disturbance, light to moderate rains will occur over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, North Rajasthan, and West Uttar Pradesh from January 7 to January 9. Heavy rain is also likely in Punjab, Haryana, and Northwest Uttar Pradesh in the next two days.

 

A Western Disturbance is over Jammu and Kashmir and adjoining areas. The Western Disturbance which is over North Pakistan will start affecting the Western Himalayas by tonight. Cyclone-like conditions will prevail over Southwest Rajasthan and its adjoining areas. Apart from this, the rain will continue in Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. The rain, which started on Thursday night, will continue till Saturday. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in Haryana, Punjab, and Chandigarh on Saturday. Apart from this, heavy rain and storm conditions will be seen from Madhya Pradesh to Vidarbha.

Today it will rain in these states

 

According to Skymet Weather, light to moderate rain may occur at some places over Central and east Uttar Pradesh, North Madhya Pradesh, and East Rajasthan today. Light rain with one or two isolated spells of rain may occur over some parts of Gujarat and some parts of Bihar. On January 7 and 8, rain activities will increase over Punjab, Haryana, North Rajasthan, Delhi, and West Uttar Pradesh. The intensity of rain and snow will increase once again in the Western Himalayas on January 7 and 8. Incessant rains will improve the air pollution of Delhi and NCR.

 

It will be cold after rain in Bihar

 

According to the Meteorological Department, after January 8, six districts in Bihar, especially Vaishali, Saran, Siwan, Muzaffarpur, Madhubani, Sitamarhi, and Sheohar, are expected to receive rain due to flowing Purvaiya. During this, a Western Disturbance will also be active. There is a possibility of rain here between January 9 and 10. After this, the cold wave will start blowing all over Bihar. Meteorologists think that this time there is a possibility of a record-breaking winter in the whole of January.

The national capital on Friday recorded a minimum temperature of 13.5 degrees Celsius, six notches above normal, with light rain, hail, and thundershowers expected during the day. The maximum temperature is expected to be 19 degrees Celsius. The IMD said that isolated thunderstorms and hailstorms have been predicted in Delhi on Friday and Saturday. There is a possibility of moderate rain in the capital on Saturday. After that, cold weather is likely to increase.

 

Chance of snowfall with light rain at isolated places in Uttarakhand

 

According to the Meteorological Department, there will be some relief in the plains on Friday. Whereas in the mountainous areas, there is a possibility of snowfall with light rain at some places. There is a chance of rain on Saturday and Sunday. There is a possibility of a cold wave in many districts of the state. There is every possibility of dense fog in Udham Singh Nagar and Haridwar. Due to the activity of Western Disturbance, the rain will continue in the capital Doon and adjoining areas. The mood of the weather suddenly changed due to the rain. A sharp drop in temperature was recorded. Due to which people had to face severe colds.

Another Western Disturbance is active in Rajasthan. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert of rain for 11 districts from Friday. At the same time, a yellow alert has been issued for many districts. During this, there is a possibility of hailstorms with strong thunder in many districts. The weather conditions have worsened in the state these days. Rain is going on in different parts of Rajasthan, in Bikaner, record-breaking rain has been recorded. The weather remained bad in many parts including the capital Jaipur. Along with the movement of clouds in the sky, the chilly winds have increased the chill of the people. At present, the people of the state are not expected to get relief from the cold. The Meteorological Department has again expressed the possibility of changing the weather in many districts of the state from Friday.
