Congress has claimed that the official Twitter handle of the party has been locked. The Indian National Congress wrote on Facebook, \'When our leaders were put in jails, we were not scared then why would we be afraid of closing Twitter accounts now. We are Congress, this is the message of the people, we will fight, we will keep fighting. If it is a crime to raise our voice for justice to the rape victim girl, then we will do this crime a hundred times. Jai Hind...Satyamev Jayate.\'

Earlier on Saturday, Congress claimed that Rahul Gandhi\'s Twitter account has been suspended. However, later said that it was locked. Later on Wednesday night, Congress claimed to have locked the Twitter accounts of five more senior leaders. These include party general secretary and former minister Ajay Maken, party whip in Lok Sabha Manickam Tagore, Assam in-charge, and former union minister Jitendra Singh and Mahila Congress president Sushmita Dev.

The photo of meeting the family of the rape victim was tweeted

A few days ago, Rahul Gandhi had tweeted a photo of the Delhi Cantt rape victim\'s family meeting. On this, the microblogging site said that it is a violation of its rules. Twitter removed that tweet of Rahul.

NCPCR had complained to Delhi Police and Twitter

The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) had complained to Delhi Police and Twitter regarding this tweet. The NCPCR had sought action against Rahul for posting the picture of the victim\'s family. The commission said that this is a violation of the Juvenile Justice Act and the Protection of Children from Offenses (POSCO) Act.

The fight against injustice will continue

This morning, Congress Communications Incharge Secretary Pranav Jha tweeted tagging PM Modi, IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, and Twitter Chief Jack Dorsey. He said the party registered its protest and promised to continue the fight against all forms of injustice.
