It is a matter of some concern that since two days, a slight increase is being registered in new cases. Earlier, on May 24, 1.95 lakhs and 2.08 lakhs corona reports were positive on 25 May.
The number of active cases, ie patients undergoing treatment, is also steadily declining. On Wednesday, 75,601 active cases were reduced. Now 24 lakh 15 thousand 7612 patients are being treated in the country.
More recovery in these states
Talking about state-wise recovery, on the last day 26 states and union territories of the country outnumbered the coronas by more than newly infected people. These include states like Karnataka, Kerala, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh.

Restrictions like lockdown in 19 states
There are complete lockdown-like restrictions in 19 states of the country. These include Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Mizoram, Goa, Telangana, West Bengal, and Puducherry. Stringent restrictions have been imposed here, just as in previous lockdowns.
Partial lockdown in 13 states/union territories
There is a partial lockdown in 13 states and union territories of the country. That is, there are restrictions here, but there are also exemptions. These include Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Assam, Manipur, Tripura, Andhra Pradesh, and Gujarat.

In this, deaths from corona and other causes will be detected and a report will be prepared on it. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has ordered this.
IIT Kharagpur has deferred Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2021. This decision has been taken because of the worsening situation of Corona across the country. These exams were to be held on 3 June. According to the information released by IIT Kharagpur, the new exam date will be announced at the right time.
State of major states
1. Maharashtra
On Wednesday, 24,752 people were found infected. 23,065 people recovered and 992 people died. So far, 56.50 lakh people have been affected by the infection in the state. Of these, 52.41 lakh people have been cured, while 91,341 people have died. 3.15 lakh patients are currently undergoing treatment.
2. Uttar Pradesh
On Wednesday, 3,176 people were found infected. 10,540 people recovered and 193 people died. So far, 16.80 lakh people have been infected in the state. Of these, 15.98 lakh have been cured, while 19,712 patients succumbed. 62,271 patients are being treated here.
3. Delhi
In Delhi, 1,491 people were found corona positive on Wednesday. 3,952 people recovered and 130 died. So far, 14.21 lakh people have been infected. Of these, 13.78 lakh people have been cured, while 23,695 patients have died. 19,148 are under treatment here.
4. Chhattisgarh
On Wednesday, 2,829 people were found corona infected. 5,767 people recovered and 56 died. So far, 9.59 lakh people have been infected in the state. Of these, 8.93 lakh people have been cured, while 12,779 patients have died. Currently, 53,480 patients are undergoing treatment.
5. Gujarat
On Wednesday, 3,085 people in the state were found to be Corona positive. 10,007 people recovered and 36 died. So far, 7.97 lakh people have been infected. Of these, 7.32 lakh people have been cured, while 9,701 patients have died. 55,548 people are being treated here.
6. Madhya Pradesh
On Wednesday, 2,182 people in the state were found to be Corona positive. 7,479 people recovered and 72 died. So far, 7.71 lakh people have been infected. Of these, 7.20 lakh people have been cured, while 7,758 people have died. 43,265 patients are undergoing treatment.
